This chair is a simple build, even if it does take a good amount of time to cut the different parts and drill the holes in all of them, all the pleasure is after... (when you have to assemble the all) 😉.
This design kept my interest and I've decided to make one of them, I'm happy I did, because it turned out great!
We put together a list of some of the tools used in the shop on our Amazon Store (affiliate link), if you'd like to support what we do, shop through this link: MyATCtv Amazon Store

Follow the steps below to complete this project.
Step 1:
Making The Cut
When making the cut, one thing to keep in mind is that you'll need to be very precise and cut them all according to the measurements. You can use a table saw or a circular saw or even a jig saw but here I have decided to use a miter saw. This design is fairly easy to adapt depending on our long our large you need it.
Step 2:
Rounding up the edges
In order to give nice feeling when seating on the chair, I am rounding up the edges here using a round over bit with a dewalt router. Note that I am repeating the same process on each of those slat.
Step 3:
Making the holes
Before inserting the Rope, I have creating the different holes with a diameter of 12 cm.
(Feel free to take a look at the full video here to see more on this step)
Step 4:
Assembling
To assemble them you will previously need to prepare 4 Rope of 50 or 60 com long (Depending on your chair measurements) then insert each in each holes following the pattern of your design.
Step 5:
Take a seat 😀
Now that we have one, We could make even a set of 4 and prepare the next summer on the balcony...
As mentioned in the video if you would like to add a dark cover you may want to consider the Frenchic Browning WAX from our sponsor Libibung.
