I am back again with a new DIY pallet creation for your home.
This time I will make a wood pallet bed which looks not only beautiful but also very comfortable.

I will use recycled pallets to make this comfortable as well as a stylish king size pallet bed. Pallets are sturdy and are easy to work with. The best part is that this DIY pallet bed costs you very less as compared to the readymade wooden bed.
From novice newbie to accomplished craftsmen, anyone can easily make a pallet bed with the help of some tools.
Let’s start the making process!
First, take a look at the tools and material you need to create a wood pallet bed.

STEP 1: Prepare the Pallets
I will use eight pieces of EURO pallets that haven’t been exposed to rain and humidity for making the bed. Also, before starting the making process of bed, I will do sanding of all the pallets with my disc sander. This will remove the splinters and make the pallets’ surface smooth.
STEP 2: Measure and Cut the Pallets According to Bed Size
Now, the measurements of the bed are 1.2m long, 80cm large, and 15cm thick. And, pallets are longer than required bed size, so I will cut the four pallets of the top head side at 90 cm to fit the bed size.
To make a cut, I will use my precision laser jigsaw.
STEP 3: Prepare the frame of Headboard
The measuring height of the headboard is 60 cm. So, I will use two vertical stands to increase the height of the headboard of the wood pallet bed up to 90cm. For this, I will use screws and drill machines to fix the vertical stands at the back of the headboard.
STEP 4: Fix Headboard to Pallet Bed Platform
Now, I will use a long wood piece to fix the headboard with a pallet bed platform. I will directly fix the 60 cm long wood on the top of the pallet and at the bottom of the vertical stands.
Finally, I will fix the headboard with the platform with the help of nails and screws.
STEP 5: Complete the Platform with Lumber Pieces
Now, I will fix pieces of lumber all around the DIY pallet bed to complete the platform. First, I will fix the lumber on the sides of pallets and then around the mattress to complete the bed platform.
STEP 6: Create Customized Design on Headboard
To give the wood pallet bed a unique look, I will create a piano design on the headboard with the help of scrap wood. I will simply fix the scrap wood from the back of the headboard with screws.
Finally, I will paint the sides and headboard with white color.
Now, the amazing wood pallet bed is ready to use. It is sturdy, beautiful, and functional. Place it in your bedroom to enjoy a comfortable sleep.
