It can be funny sometimes when your kids comes out of the bush where they were playing with unexpected things and ask you (with cat eyes): Daddy you have to fix this, we need to sit on it. Oh yeah....
Ok let's see what can be done...
Steps:
Verify that the wood is still in good condition
Get rid of the useless materials around it
Start cleaning the wood with a metallic brush and some water
Cut the broken pieces so all part have the same size
If you have some slat bed somewhere, use them in order to re-create the bottom sit and the back of the chair.
Could be better but that's fine for now! A little bit of varnish and should be enough. Some slat bed left from the last project and here we are!
As you can imagine, cleaning the wood wasn’t that easy!
