Some weeks ago I have created a Table for our kitchen island and of course as this table is uch higher than a normal table, we also needed to have the proper seat going with it.
So in the article, I will be showing you how I've created 2 bar stool for our kitchen...
As always, I am sharing here a free interactive plan for you if you would like to give it a try...
First, you will need to get your 8 pieces of lumber and please note that here we hey ar measuring 2.10m long, 7cm large and 4.5 cm thickness.
Then it was time for me to move to the kitchen table to have the exact dimensions needed to make this design
And now time to move to the miter saw to make some cut...
After all of this was done, I have moved to do some sanding to clean a little bit the edges, then to the kreg jig to create the pocket holes...
And here they are! all clean and all pocket holes done
Now time to assemble each side
Here I have decied to use those pieces of scrap wood in order to create the back of the seat
Here placing 1 slat n each chairs which will help us to fix the seat slats
Et Voila!!!
And here you are with some selfmade wooden stool that can be used in the kitchen but also outside.
