I generate a lot of scrap wood

Scrap wood cut into trapezoids to make an art piece.

In this project

I used up some wood from my scrap bins to create an art piece. When cutting the wood into trapezoids the three short side must be equal length to get a solid triangle.

I used pine with 3 different shades of stain, which gives a 3D effect. A better way of making a piece like this is to use 3 different types of wood with various shades and left natural.

The stain I used was Polyshades which is a combination of poly and stain.
