Here's the dozens I've made so far. The boxes on the right are more books that need more crates.

The overall dimensions are 24" long x 12.5" high x 11" deep. Strong enough to hold books in normal upright position or turned 90* in transport position (below).

I'm sure that sanding, squaring, gluing, & staining would help improve the appearance, but all 12 of these were all made "rough & quick" in 2 days before my last move.
